Q. What is memory foam ?

Q. What is Cirrus ?
A. Cirrus is the new moisture management fibre, developed by Wellman International Limited. We use this fibre within our memory foam mattreses to form a climate control barrier between the body and memory foam layer. Cirrus Climate Control actively addresses issues relating to heat and moisture, traditionally associated with memory foam. Many manufacturers have attempted to address these issues by shaping the memory foam layer to include pockets of air within its structure but we believe that Cirrus Climate Control is the most effective method of transporting heat and moisture away from the body, thus leading to improved sleep and helping to maintain the ideal body temperature at all times. Please note that Cirrus Climate Control is only available with our memory foam mattresses and not our memory foam toppers.
Q. Do you supply special size mattresses or toppers ?
A. We can supply memory foam mattresses or memory foam toppers cut to any size up to king size. You must specify the exact size required prior to or during checkout so that we are aware of your requirements. There is no additional charge for up to 4 straight cuts. Further cuts or shaped items will incur a small surcharge. Shaped items will also require the provision of a drawing, which may be emailed to enquiries@1stforcomfort.co.uk. We are unable to supply covers for mattresses or toppers that are anything other than standard sizes. Please contact our customer service team by email or telephone for further information.
Q. Do your memory foam toppers come with covers ?
A. No. Our memory foam toppers do not include covers. You can simply cover them with a sheet.
Q. Do you offer discount ?
A. We offer discount of up to 40% for deliveries of mattresses only to postcodes BB, BL, M or OL. We also offer discount on all products to all customers who are able to collect. Q. Do you have a showroom ?
A. Yes, our factory showroom in Bacup is open 08:30-16:30 Mon-Fri. All our memory foam mattresses are on display.
Q. Can I collect ?
A. Yes, our factory showroom in Bacup is open 08:30-16:30 Mon-Fri. We offer discount up to 40% to all customers who are able to collect. Please contact our customer service team to make sure your item is available for collection.
Q. What guarantee do you offer ?
A. All our products carry a 10 year manufacturer's guarantee. Should any of our products prove defective, we will arrange collection and refund your purchase in full.
Q. Are your products made in the UK ?
A. All our memory foam mattresses, memory foam toppers and the majority of our pillows are manufactured in the UK. All the foam we use is manufactured in the UK. We try our best to support UK manufacturers and suppliers wherever possible.
Q. Are your products safe ?
A. Our memory foam mattresses, memory foam mattress toppers and all associated products that we supply conform to the requirements of :- The Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) (Amendment) Regulations 1989 Schedule 1 Part 1 as required by law.
